Re: [VAL] 1953 Cruiser Potable water tank and more questions.

Warren,

    Welcome and congrats to you.

I am in the process of re-vitleizing my 61' Bambi. My fresh water tank
is of Alum. I think it is rated at about 40 psi. I alos have the valve stem
on the tank inlet.
I don't plan any upgrade for the water system, my pump still works and I
have enough going on to keep me busy for now. This is one of the things that
I feel can wait while I do the major things. I will be adding a new 2500 lb
Axel, new 14" chrome wheels, along with some additional frame repair. I am
replacing the floor with 5/8", Marine Plywood and coating it with Thompson 3
yr water proofing, and re-attaching it with elevator bolts.
The metal work has been done to the galley and black tank area. I will
have additional work to do at the front of the door due to PO letting the
door leak for years. This leak has been stoped.
