I just purchased TWO new Beret Patches to put on a couple of Kangol 504's
from HQs and they say "Wally Byam Caravanners" on them. I believe that's
what all beret patches say. I was looking at a 50 year old Beret last
weekend and the stitching is nearly identical to the 50 year old patch. The
only difference that really stood out is that the new patch has a more
consistent and even red fill for the globe and if I remember correctly the
bolo tie was slightly different.
