Depends on what you want to do. Silver Dollar Campground is handy if you
want to visit Silver Dollar City. The City Campground on the shore of Lake
Taneycomo is handy for Trout fishing or visiting downtown and the new
Landing development within walking distance. Several campgrounds on the
"strip", Hwy 76, will be close to most theaters, maybe walking distance.
Table Rock Lake is one of the best bass fishing lakes in America with many
national tournaments. The Corps. of Engineers operates about 12
campgrounds in the area. Summer is the busy season as families with
children vacation. Reservations are a good idea. Here's another website
