[VAL] Update on our 1969 Globe Trotter repairs and fixes

Hi Everyone,

Easter weekend was the big one, and hot over here in the UK!

I just uploaded around 100 photos recording our work over Easter to
http://belmont.smugmug.com for those interested in seeing

100% plasticote removal
Repairing rear end separation
Cutting out rusty chassis sections
Installing a new rear chassis and bumper frame with 2.5mm galvanised steel
Removing the gas water heater
Removing all the roof mounted vents
Fitting patches to panels
Rust proofing the chassis
Metal coating the chassis
Installing new flooring
Removing canopy and frame

The rear bumper is off to be powder coated, back in 2 weeks, then we can
rebuild the rear end and carry on prepping the chassis and installing new
flooring section by section.

The main thing is we are now watertight!

Have fun!
