If anybody wants a one-of-a-kind vintage tow vehicle for a (small)
vintage trailer, my 1979 Chevrolet 5.7 L (Oldsmobile) diesel pickup is
for sale on eBay. It's item number 120107087542 .
I wouldn't especially recommend it as a tow vehicle (manufacturer tow
weight rating only 2,000 pounds) but at this age it's pretty unique.
They didn't make very many of them and most of them went to the junkyard
long ago. The Olds diesel didn't have a very good reputation but I
drove this one for 20 years with nothing but scheduled maintenance.
I parked it in the barn in 1999 thinking I might restore it when it
became a classic, but that was before I discovered Airstreams, and I
already have too many projects!
