When I got my Globe Trotter 20 plus years ago, the PO had used some garden
hose to patch up the water lines where they had frozen. I replaced the hose
with some clear vinyl reinforced tubing and hose clamps, thinking it was a
temp fix, but it is still working as is. I do intend to replumb one day,
but I have to say the reinforced tubing seems to be good stuff.
