Thanks for the advice Dr. G.
I have decided to replace the thermostat and have purchased a new digital
one. I need help in figuring the correct way to wire it. The old Honeywell
thermostat was a cooling only thermostat and has four wires. They are:
Red - connected to the R terminal
Green- connected to the G1 terminal
Black- connected to the G2 terminal
Brown- connected to the Y terminal
the new thermostat is for heating and cooling but says it's adaptable to 97
% of all thermostats. Its terminals are:
C
RC
O
B
RH (there is a red jumper wire between this and RC)
W
Y
G
Any ideas on how to hook it up?
Thanks,
