I've been all over the roof on my '71 Safari and '60 Ambassador working on
the A/C, sealing or replacing vents, polishing, etc..  with no trouble at
all.

Just follow the simple rules.  Stay off the end caps, and stay on the rivet
lines that go across the trailer.  These are where the supports are.  Wear
tennis shoes that grip well.

As anything you do, be conscious of what you are doing and you'll be fine.

Elaborate scaffolding or lifts are not necessary.
