[VAL] Re.Yakima and Tundra

< Which rack do you have? I'm using the Yakima 78" load bars on my factory
< rack on a Suburban. You can use foam on the load bars to quiten the noise or
< wrap string around them to break up the wind.

Hi Robert,
I am using the Outdoorsman bed rack with the cab bar on the cab. This is the one
making the noise. I will try those fixes along the way including a slanted wind
deflector in the front from the cab roof up and over the platform covering the
spare etc. That should really be the thing the produces noise but in theory may
smooth things out. Thanks for the advice.

< Looking at purchasing a 2001 Tundra 4X4 limited for a tow vehicle.
< Any experience out there. Have a 69 Caravel and a SOB tri axle (
< 7500 lbs est). Have been towing with a 02 sienna. Estimated gas
< mileage. Got about 19 today, but was driving 55 and staying alive.

Hi Daniel,
I have a Tundra and tow a 62' Safari 22'. I love the truck and it is a good match
with with the size of this trailer. Not too small, not to big, just right. Still
have not gone to any weight distributing tow bar system and no problems. Any more
ball weight or a longer trailer and I think it would call for it. Hope that helps.
