I plan on doing this when I put the new floor on. First, all around the
perimeter, I'm going to saturate the plywood with that epoxy type sealer
from the Wood Doctors (at least I think that's where I got it). Then the
rest of the surface, top and bottom will be sealed with Olympic sealer, a
deck sealant and waterproofer.
If the old floor lasted 40 years, the new one ought to be good for 100!
