RE: [VAL] Best stripper before polishing?

Jim:

The best stripper to use is RemovAll (environmentally friendly) 220 if you
want to apply it by brush or 210 if you want to spray it on with an airless. I
recommend applying by airless and then pressure washing it off. You can find
the product at www.dtep.com Please foil tape your windows before applying as
stripper can wreak havoc on your windows. The problem with scraping off the
plasticoat is that you will have a high tendency to put scratches in the
surface which are going to really frustrate you when you go to polish. The
second part is that it depends on your surface as to which polish to use as
well as the tool you should use.

I help people all the time with these types of questions at
www.shyneairstreams.com . Check it out and send me a pic of your Airstream and
we can get you polished up, because if you are going to polish and protect
your Airstream anyway, you might as well do it right the first time and the
quicker the better!

All the best,
Butch Morgan
