[VAL] Air Flow

We have a 1976 23' Safari and my question is - how is
the best way to let airflow through the trailer while
stored? Thinking about wind blown rain.
We have three vents on top, but it seems they would
leak if left open even though they have a good sized
lip and they track straight up.
We are new to airstream - so I ask the experts.
