[VAL] Moving battery from rear to tongue

I am considering moving the battery on my '69
Sovereign, 31', from the rear hatch to the tongue. My
battery box holder upper snapped on the last outing.
Been looking at it and it looks like a "previous
owner" design. Not really too substantial. I also
noted that it sort of cantalevers(sp) over the
plumbing pipes, blocking easy access for the
inevetable repairs. Also I would like to remove any
weight that could contribute to rear end separation. I
hear that some Airstreams have the front mounted
battery.

My question is: Where would the positive wire hook in
at the front? I found the large-gauge-hot wire for the
trailer tongue jack when I installed it. Would that
work? to run electricity in the other direction? Would
there be a better place to put the battery?
