Re: [VAL] "Fancy" Hitches...

Huff,

There are a number of us on the list that use the Equal-i-zer hitch
these days. The Equal-i-zer has been around for quite some time. It just
wasn't distributed nationally until the last few years. Their website is
at http://www.equalizerhitch.com/

They also have a product video. Their's you can see online if you have a
broadband connection. See it at
http://www.equalizerhitch.com/productinfo/video.php

The Equal-i-zer does come in a little more expensive, unless you add a
sway control to the standard hitch you bought.
Typical friction sway or even Reese's very good dual cam sway control
will run the over all price up to and even past the cost of an Equal-i-zer.

I've been towing with mine now for over 5 years, two trucks and two
trailers. It works. Just got back from spring break on the Oregon coast.
Lovely time of the year to be traveling in the western Rockies and the
Cascades.
