RE: [VAL] RE: VAL Digest V3 #192 (Flooring)

Why not have the best of both worlds? Put down a vinyl or linoleum
surface, then use throw rugs. If you want a more wall-to-wall carpet
look have standard carpet of your choice cut to size to fit from 'wall
to wall' and have it hemmed at a carpet shop. That way when you really
need to clean it you can roll it up and take it out. Use double stick
tape to keep it in place if that becomes a problem. Installing
wall-to-wall carpet in the same fashion as you would in your home just
isn't necessary. The floor space isn't wide enough for it to need
stretching and held in place with tack strips.
