The short answer is NO.

The guys that started the company that made Avion's used to work for 
Wally. So the story goes, they disagreed on some aspect of how to build 
the coach. Given that the few major difference in the beginning of Avion 
was the profile and finish one could guess that was what the 
differencers were.
Anyway Airstream didn't build them. Nor did they build a truck camper. 
That was another Avion built unit.
