I built a new center bed and used dense foam.  Here is the company's url:

reasonable and I love the foam.  They will make a custom size and also have
covers.  I recommend the stretch knit fabric that is waterproof and alergy
proof.  I used the medium density foam and it is perfect for me.  I only
used the 4" which is fine when I lay down, but a little thin if I sit on the
bed.  I have a 3" wood lip around the edge and I can feel it if I'm on the
edge of the bed.  I have NFI, just like the service, product and price I
received.
BTW, this is NOT the same foam that you have now.
