Thanks Bill, I did not build a fold up bed, as I have the great luxury 
of a rear double side bath. 

As you will see, I built a platform and put a cut down very cushy futon 
mattress on it to be a sofa.  The gaucho was missing when I got my 
trailer.  It would work for a child to sleep on, nearly a twin bed.

I don't think the gaucho is comfortable to either sit on or sleep on 
except occaisionally.

I soon took it out and made a dinette which could become a single bed 
although I haven't done that part of the work.
