My Trade Wind double had a pull out bed in the middle as well  as the front 
couch These were true touchier racks as a person always ended up in  the 
cracks.My answered to the problem was to build in sofa beds with the jack  knife 
hinges I used the new memory foam and upholstered in red velvet.For the  life of 
me I cannot figure out why any one would make slide outs unless it were  to 
save about $20.oo per unit. But who am I to question The engineers??
