Scott and others,

Recently while skiing near the East entrance to Yellowstone Park we came
upon a traveler who was stopped there puzzled by the closed road through the
Park.  They asked directions for the shortest route around to Jackson Hole
because they had been directed by their GPS through Yellowstone Park.  The
Park is closed in winter to autos however the GPS did not take that into
account and lead them astray!  They added several hundred miles to their
trip and an extra night as well.
