Re: [VAL] Fwd: catalytic

Thanks for all of the feedback. I will follow up on that vented
catalytic heater. I guess I am looking for flexibility, with emphasis on
safety. I don't like generators. Just seems like a lot of noise. But I
understand some of the new ones are pretty quiet. The neighbors probably
could not hear it above my snoring anyway. As I look at the weather map
for traveling south of here(Canyon, TX) it looks like a light freeze is
probable as far south as close to San Antonio over the next two or three
weeks. Of course a light freeze should not be a problem for my Suburban
furnace when off 120v. When hooked up at a campground, with the 1500
watt oil filled heater, and two smaller electric space heaters I think I
can probably stay comfortable, without frozen pipes. I guess it is a
matter of balancing the 12 volt battery and LPG with electric
supplement. Whether at full hook ups or lost out in the boonies parked
under a tree. I hope to be prepared, so I don't have worry about it.
Thanks, bill b.
