I really don't know how they cool in comparison to a roof unit. I would like a little more out of my workshop unit, but there is a lot of heat for it to deal with, and not all workshop walls are insulated. I would want a roof unit myself. They don't take up any inside space, which the floor unit certainly does. -Tom
