Thanks guys for your thoughts! The other thing about a staight 8 is there is so much room in the engine room, it makes maintinance so much easier. I think most of the present cars available have been rebuilt with valves for burning unleaded gas. The other thing I keep hearing is that those old Packard 327s run for ever! Vanessa
