Great explanation.

It's still "the old days" when we're on the road.  When away from home
my email options are an account with an 800 number at ten cents a minute
or call an access number for another account at six cents a minute long
distance charge.  Right at the moment we are in the woods out back of
beyond and the phone line to our cabin only supports 30 Kbps on a good
day.  (On a bad day I can't get a connection.) So the "no pictures"
policy suits me fine.
