Why don't you go to Jim Dunmyer's website and read how he did it? I 
don't think he's on the list anymore but I'm sure he'd discuss details 
with you if you asked.

His website is full of neat stuff directly relating to Airstreams. Jim 
is a brilliant and talented craftsman with mountain of common sense for 
practical application in everything he does.
