[VAL] 79 Sovereign Vista Views

Hey Alan,

I noticed your comment:

"Double pane windows and ALL are intact!"

Now that is one of the BEST features going. You're a lucky duck.

If I found an Airstream with those windows, I'd buy it "as is" and not
blink.

We had thermopanes in our '77 31' Excella 500 and they made a big
difference in both hot and cold weather. Unfortunately, we wore out the
frame on that trailer.

One suggestion:

Our double paned windows near the ceiling were cloudy, yet I knew I'd
never spoil the integrity of the double pane feature.

First, I made sure the vista views were water tight, then I bought
transparent vinyl material (different sheets with colored pictures for
different seasons of the year), cut them to fit and laid them on the
glass for cosmetic camouflage. They adhered by static electricity and
never fell out. Every day that sunlight spilled through those pictures,
it perked up ambiance royally.

Good Luck with this rig,

Terry
