Re: [VAL] can propane go bad?

Joe,

I just went through the valve vs replacement issue
myself. Looking into new aluminum tanks, I was
informed by the useless AS dealer here that they were
$300.00ea. He also told me that I couldn't replace the
valves and I had to buy new tanks. He wanted to sell
me steel for a great deal of $140.00ea. Today, I found
a propane supplier to install new valves and
re-certify my aluminum tanks for $36.00ea including
the valves. I changed the hard lines to hoses. I have
not replaced the regulator yet, but I will.

Question for you all. The "T" that hold the regulator
and tanks down is fractured. The AS dealer said they
are not made anymore. Does anyone know if this is
true? If so, that do the new trailers use?

Regards,

Brett
