Go to Home Depot and buy a bottle of liquid Teflon made by Dupont. The bottle is blue in color and holds less than 1 ounce. Put a drop or two at the top of the hinge pin, working the door open and closed so it gets into all the spaces. Sounds like the hinge pin is binding due to age. Tom WBCCI 5303
