I also would be interested in how many folks on the list have the same  
trailer as I do--1965 Caravel.  As far as elementary questions.  I'm  sure I can 
and in some cases *have* asked the most basic.  In fact, many  times when 
reading the posts I worry over our lack of just basic handyman  ability here.  It 
seems everyone connected with these vintage ASs have both  a right and left 
thumb--unlike myself!  We have been fortunate in no  problems but then we 
basically have used our Caravel as a tent on wheels.   I'm afraid of the gas and 
pilots!  After I let the disposable head of my  toilet brush go down the toilet I'm 
afraid of the plumbing!  After we  locked ourselves inside in a Walmart 
parking lock on the maiden voyage home I'm  afraid of the door knob!
