Having been on the other end of this situation (behind a big fat 
trailer) - as we all have been - I do think that it's the limited 
visibility that bothers those following a trailer. At least it is for 
me. The actual speed doesn't bother me when I following quite as much 
as not being able to see what's ahead, road conditions, approaching 
bridge, whatever. Usually I just drop back and hope they pull over 
eventually.
