Re: [VAL] New Axles

Jim,

The axles I purchased for the Liner came from Axis Products in Elkhart,
IN. I am very satisfied with the axles and the price. I had several
conversations with Henry Spilko at Axis when I ordered the axles and he
placed a call to me while in transit to Florida to make sure that
everything was OK. I spoke with him when we returned, here seemed very
concerned that everything was OK with the axles. He has spent the
necessary time to answer all my questions. He gave me an estimate for
disc conversion for both axles, with controller and hydralic lines of
$1,000 for parts. I also plan on converting the Safari to disc brakes.

If you have seen the Airstream Life articles on the Vintage Thunder
rehab, Axis has supplied axles to them.

Based upon my conversations with Henry, Axis seems to have brakes for
any application.
