Hi Dan, sorry I didn't get to meet you on Monday. Airstreamdreams.com has plastic razor blades which I restrained myself from buying, but they look like they might be useful for scraping off caulk and according to the description, they won't scratch the clear coat or aluminum depending. Might be worth a shot. Did you try mineral spirits ? Daisy
