RE: [VAL] '66 Caravel Roof Vent



As it was pointed out, they pull off straight down - held in place by
ball detents.

If your vent did not come with a fan, the wire runs past the opening on
its way over to the galley fan - it usually ahs enough slack in it to
route to the vent (requires removal of the vent shroud to get to, and
then down to the stove fan.

There should also be a 110v stub in the ceiling.  The circuit breaker
panel in the closet will have a Romex cable running up to it.  If you
only have the wires for the fan and lights coming out of the box, then
Airstream would have not included it in yours.  For some reason, some
trailers never got the provisions, but most did.
