Place screening over the top of the vent on the roof of your trailer -
secure it with a stainless steel hose-clamp, black tie-wrap, etc. I would
think that gray duct tape might look a bit tacky. ;)
Sticking toilet valve - this is the kind that swings left or right or pulls
off to one side? Not an easy fix but all the seal may need is to be
lubricated. You might try using some dish detergent in a very small amount
(liquid) to break down any trash in the slide grooves. Worst case you need
to get dirty by cleaning the grooves with something that won't destroy the
integrity of the seals. What ever you use make sure it doesn't have any
points that could pierce the seal. If it's not the slider seal that is
sticking you may have to look at how the linkage works that is attached to
the slider - that may need some lubrication or readjustment of the hardware
as it sounds as if it may be binding.
