Don, You might want to spray the chrome portion of the lamp with clear coat from your local hardware store before installation. These lamps are the closest thing to the original however the quality of the chrome is pretty poor. Chinese I suspect. I have seen these start to rust within a week. Just a thought, Colin Hyde
