Have you tried using the Sewer Solution, Daisy?

With it you'd be able to flush out your black holding tank.  You also really 
need to use one of those wands with the high pressure end on it that you 
lower into the black tank via the throat of the toilet.

Sounds to me like your tank has *not* been emptying itself of everything 
here.  Once you get enough water into the tank with the wand and actually 
push the wand around inside the bottom of the tank as much as you can via 
the throat of the toilet you will begin to break up what ails the tank.

With the Sewer Solution in place you will begin to break up that matter and 
be able to carry it away using your bucket method.  With good water pressure 
the Sewer Solution will actually pump the waste water up a slight incline - 
but don't get carried away it as shjt does not run "up hill" - but you knew 
that ! ;)

Keep using the wand and then dumping the tank and it will clear itself up. 
Just MAKE SURE that you do NOT leave that wand water RUNNING while you are 
outside the trailer!!!!

Doing the above will result in a FLOODED TRAILER if you are not careful.
