You can buy new backer plates e/w new shoes, magnet, levers and springs. Just four bolts and you have all new breaks. You may have to turn your drums to true them up. And the price is good. Just look for a dealer for "Dexter Axle" They have two sizes 2 X 12 and 2 X10 inch. This way is much easer than putting on new shoes only. Dean
