Tim and Gerald,

The water level is fine, after driving for a couple of hundred miles the 
batteries are charged up.  It appears, to my uneducated eye, that the 
univolt is not charging the batteries, even though it is converting the 
120V shore power to 12V for all of the lights.  Is is possible to check 
this and how?

Also, disconnecting the batteries and putting them on a battery charger 
brings them up.
