Re: [VAL] Sealed batteries

I have been running a sealed Interstate Rv Battery in my 1971
Tradewind, and it does not require venting.
There are no provisions for a vent, neither provisions to refill water.
It was purchased 3 years ago, and the critical issue was venting
problems. The battery lives under our bed.
I have seen batteries that allow a vent tube to be connected, which
then vents to the outside, but I have not been able to find them for
deep cycle use.( as in RV use) They are more common in cars where the
battery is under the seat or inside the trunk.
