I pursued this question a while back off-list.  CO2 is heavier than air, but
all the folks I checked with thought about it, and decided that CO (one less
oxygen molecule) is about the weight as air.

So CO will mix with your cabin air.  I am no expert on this subject by any
means, and hopefully an expert can offer a definitive answer.  But I did
feel obligated to relay what I found out.
