[VAL] uploading Mac photos
Glyn,
For future reference, if you are using I photo, simply "export" the
images to re-size them. As I'm usually uploading a batch of photos at a
time with my powermac, I set up a new folder on the desk top and export
photos to it individually. The export window allows me to re-size the
photo by adjusting the number of pixels in each axis; to upload, I set
the larger of the two (depending on if your picture is oriented
horizontally or vertically) to 700. If you "retain aspect ratio", the
other dimension will automatically adjust.
The nice part about this method is that you can retain the high density
original image in I photo (in case you need a higher resolution photo,
for printing, etc), and only adjust the copy you intend to upload.
Regards,
Chris K.
