Yes, it is 5/8 inch.  Standard 1/2 copper tubing is 5/8 od, and 1/2 id.  
It should not be hard to find.  It may be that when it froze, it 
expanded a bit.  This will make it very hard to work on.  An easy way , 
if there is a small split it to take a short piece of copper pipe and 
saw it in half length wise, put a rubber gasket in the half tube and 
clamp it to the split pipe with 2 hose clamps.  This will last for years.
