Scott,
Solid tempered windows are heat treated glass that is extremely resistant to
break from blows to the surface (hits from the side are another matter).
When tempered glass does break it breaks into small chunks rather than sharp
shards like normal glass and this is why tempered glass is used in auto
windshields as well as glass showers and large home windows (ie safety).  I
do know that A/S has replacement windows available as a friend just had to
have one of his wing windows replaced along with the main front window due
to rock hits.  He should have known that he was asking for it as he had
removed his rock shield since it was so deteriorated (he also had a new
smoked rock guard installed at the same time as the window replacements).
The local A/S service center (N Dallas RV) ordered the corner wing window
and the shield directly from A/S/
