No relationship.  His name actually was James V. Patterson but he went by 
the name of Pat Patterson.  He did go on to found the Streamline Trailer 
Company in around 1957.

I thought it was a cool looking idea too.  Actually, the question came up 
from someone who was looking to restore a 1951 Silver Streak.  Now he knows 
what they looked like, and is currently scratching his head wondering where 
he would ever get one.
