Tom,

I used Bix stripper from Home Depot.  Its a spray on chemcial that you 
spray onto the trailer and let it setup a few minutes and hose off.  
Some stubborn areas may require two passes or light scraping with a 
plastic putty knife.

Read the instructions and follow them closely.  And don't get it on 
anything plastic that you intended to keep.  Wear gloves and eye 
protection.
