[VAL] Re: perplexing electrics

Thanks Tony, William, and Dr. J for your help.
I ran a separate extension chord to the converter; the breaker tripping
seems to have gone a way. This would seem to reinforce the idea that
it's circuit overload doing the tripping. Further, I suspect the GFI
may be getting weak from repeated tripping.
So now the question is: can I safely replace the GFI with a slightly
larger one? Current one is 15A. Maybe go to a 20A?
The wiring appears to be 14 gage romex.
The $100 I was quoted for a replacement 15A GFI breaker was for the
part only, from an electrical supply house here in London, Ontario.
($120 canadian = ~$100 U.S.)

Thanks again,

Chris K.
