Chris, Why don't you plug the Inteli Charger into an extension cord that is not connected to the trailer. This will completely eliminate the rest of the circuitry from the problem and see if It still acts in the "boost" mode. this will eliminate the GFI and you will know where the problem is. bill 25 ft Trade Wind in WV
