    I bought some LED lights from a trucking parts place and replaced 
the halogen bulb assembly in some sort of nautical style light for my 
AS. But although they are bright and draw little current, the light 
that they give off is a bit disappointing. They are BRIGHT indeed but 
the light doesn't seem to go anywhere. I think LED's strong suit is the 
ability of being seen not producing light for seeing.
