[VAL] Re: fixing vintage trialers
This is why we LOVE EM!
Like a man said to me a few months back "I DON'T GET WHAT YOU GUYS SEE IN
THESE THINGS"
He was referring to a trashed 65 Ambassador that I was looking to buy!
The fact that he could not see any value in it especially when it was a
"center full" set up! was amusing to me!
It's the difference between those who buy new houses and those who like me
buy houses that are at least 50 years old (MY 1ST house was 215) They just don't
make em like that anymore! Its a passion that's hard to explain......Either
ya got it or ya don't!
I always have a 30+ year old car in my garage for the same reason!~ ITS A
TANK...Built to last! Why when traveling, are strangers always wanting to get a
look at my A/S?
Like the old cars~ Most folks have an inbred curiosity to admire them but few
care to understand what it takes to live with them! I am willing to bet if we
took a poll of our group we would find a lot of vintage cars and houses
amongst us!
After owning the 4 A/Ss in my time I know what to expect from them and each
of them have never let me down.
It's always nice to share our experiences with each other and I hope one day
to make it to one of the rallies to put faces on the wise voices we see every
day in this forum!
OK THEN~~~BLA BLA BLA.......TOO MUCH COFFEE today....time to get out there
and go fix the world! ~LOL!
Cheers all!
