Thanks Jim - that is a very informative web site.
    One interesting side light is a fellow here in town who has a little 
car talk type radio show and also is the owner of a brake and tire 
store - advocating nitrogen gas to inflate tires in lieu of regular 
compressed air. He's been looking at this for a while and a few 
customers have tried it - supposed to lengthen tire life and 
performance. Interesting when you really get into a subject like that. 
I know that most of the bagged lettuce/'salad greens that are prewashed 
and ready to use have replaced the air in the package with "inert" 
(nitrogen?) gas for longer shelf life.
